St. Augustine School's Early Childhood program is comprised of two grade levels:

Nursery (age 3 by Sept. 1)

The St. Augustine School Nursery Program provides a warm, loving environment that is designed to consider the development of each child in order to meet his/her individual needs. Emphasis is placed on Christian values and learning in a nurturing atmosphere through example and instruction. Children are given diverse choices that lead to independence, self-confidence, self-control, and a sense of responsibility. Through play and hands-on experiences, children are given the opportunity to become acquainted with all aspects of the learning and play environment. We use Heggerty, IXL, ABCmouse, and our religion curriculum is God Made Me. Our Nursery students also get the opportunity to take art, physical education, and music.

Pre-K (age 4 by Sept. 1)

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program allows for social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, providing children with a developmentally appropriate experience. These experiences are achieved through the exploration and manipulation of math, language, science, art, and religious activities. Our curriculum includes Fundations and Heggerty to cultivate literacy skills, Loyola Press’ God Made the World for religion, Scholastic for activities, and IXL for math and reading. Our Pre-K students also take art, physical education, and music.
