EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS
Recognizing the demands placed on families and the challenges that securing quality
child care can bring, St. Augustine School’s Extended Day Programs offer a safe,
nurturing environment for before and after school hours.
The Extended Day Program for Nursery and Pre-K students is offered Monday through
Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Nursery/Pre-K Extended Day Program is limited to 12 students, at a cost of $7.00 per hour.
The Extended Day Program for K-8 students is offered Monday through Friday, 7:00-8:30 a.m. and/or 3:00-6:00 p.m. The K-8 Extended Day Program is limited to 40 students.
There is a flat fee of $10.00 per day for before school care, including breakfast.
After school care is charged at a rate of $7.00 per hour.
Extended Day is provided only on days when school is in session. There is no Extended Day on storm days, holidays, or vacations. On half days,
morning care (7:00 - 8:30 a.m.) will be offered but there will be no care in the afternoon.
Families interested in enrollment in either of our Extended Day Programs must submit
a $50 registration fee along with a completed application indicating the day(s)
on which care is requested. (The $50 fee will be applied to your September invoice.)
If you apply after June 15th, please call 978-475-2414, extension 6 to check program availability.
Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis, with priority
given to those currently enrolled in the program.
After you receive notification of acceptance, an Extended Day Handbook will be mailed to you (mid-August)
with forms to be completed prior to the start of school. Please note that once you commit to specific
days/times, you will be charged for those days/times regardless
of use (with the exception of snow days). Due to demand, we can only accomodate regularly requested days.
The Extended Day program is not a drop-in program.
