ELEMENTARY-LEVEL OUTREACH
Past and current faith outreach projects in which Grades K-4 have taken part include:
- Collecting socks, hats, mittens,
and toiletries for the less fortunate
- Collecting school supplies
for children served by Lazarus House in Lawrence, MA
Lawrence
- Collecting toys and games for
the local Asian center, which serves the large Asian population in a nearby
city
- Collecting pennies for organizations
that serve various people in need
- Participating in bake sales
and raffles to raise money for Children of Chernobyl and other charitable
organizations
- Participating in our annual Thanksgiving
Turkey Dinner Drive
Through these efforts and more, we endeavor to teach
our younger students the importance of helping others – especially those just around
the corner whose experiences may be far from our own.
